Description: A British grey white flint cordate handaxe with some cortex remaining on one side and the opposite face with an attractive off-white patina, possibly some small areas of edge damage reworked in antiquity, but overall a nice example. Provenance not known, but possibly from East Anglia.

Size: 88 mm/3.5 ins. in length

Culture: Lower Palaeolithic

Date: c. 200,000-400,000 years B.P.
