Description: An alabastron in honey coloured banded alabaster with flat base and gently tapering upwards to a narrow shoulder. A break at the base of the neck resulting in loss of the neck and lip, otherwise condition good.

Size: 95 mm/3.7 ins. high

Culture: Egyptian

Date: Late Period, c. 600-300 B.C.

Provenance: Ex UK private collection but originally collected in the 1930’s by H.G. Ramsell (died 1960) of Wolverhampton. Previously with Bonhams, New Bond Street, London (part of Lot 215, ‘Antiquities’ Sale, 7 July 2016).
