£145.00
Description: A turquoise blue faience amulet of Harpocrates, depicted seated wearing the sidelock of youth and the Hemhem crown. The base lost and the glaze worn, particularly on the front, but in our opinion, a rather nicer figure than the photographs might suggest.

Size: 42 mm/1.6 ins. high

Culture: Egyptian

Date: Late Period, c. 730-332 B.C.

Provenance: Ex Jannette Walen Collection, Holland, formed between World War I and World War II.

Photographed in both natural and artificial light.
