Description: A good-sized dark grey flint transverse arrowhead, attached by cord to an annotated card. The card foxed and creased in places, with some corner tears and a transverse partial tear close to the arrowhead base. A nice example of the type and found at Hougham, Kent, in 1929.
Size: 36 mm/1.4 ins. in length, the card measuring 38 x 76 mm/1.5 x 3 ins.
Culture: Neolithic
Date: c. 2000-2500 B.C.
A nice example of the careful recording of small artefacts by early 20th Century collectors.
