Description: A group of seven sheet gold punch decorated sub-rectangular fragments, probably from a jeweller’s workshop. Most decorated with a punched rosette design, two pieces perforated, but 10.5 grams of gold in all.
Size: The largest measuring 43 x 38 mm/1.7 x 1.5 ins. and the smallest 43 x 16 mm/1.7 x 0.6 ins.
Culture: Hellenistic
Date: c. 4th Century B.C.
Provenance: Previously in a private collection formed from the 1950s to the mid 1970s.
