Description: A good-sized black glazed jug with single bifurcated handle, broad out-turned rim and the shoulder and upper body decorated with incised vertical lines. A chip to the rim and the rim a little misshapen and a small area of the bowl flattened, otherwise condition good. A very old collectors number (possibly 19th Century) and remains of a wax seal on the base, Campania, Greek South Italian colonies.
