Description: A good-sized red-figure skyphos decorated with a profile head of a bearded man, wearing a wreath enlivened in white, on one side, and the head of a lady of fashion on the other. Recomposed from fragments without restoration along the break lines, and the red-figure decoration worn on the sides and on the head of the lady of fashion, but still an attractive piece. An old collectors number on the base, Greek South Italian colonies.
