Description: A good-sized Michoacan spouted squash vessel with squat ribbed bowl, tall flared neck and prominent out-turned rim. The vessel painted medium brown and repaired from approximately twenty original pieces with restoration over the exterior breaklines, some patchy surface wear, but an imposing vessel. From Tzintzuntzan, western central Mexico.
