Description: A mottled gray brown flint sub-tabular polished axehead with a slight posterior taper. Some chips to the cutting edge, some large chips to one corner of the butt, some shallow body chips and a rather dirty patina.

Date: c. 3rd Millennium B.C.
Provenance: Ex Essex private collection.
In our opinion, probably slightly lighter and browner in shade than the pictures might suggest.
