Description: A North African gypsum mould, being the top half of a mould for the manufacture of red ware oil lamps. The mould for a lamp with a quatrefoil design of shield-like and heart-shaped patterns on the discus, and concentric circles, leaves and heart-shaped motifs on the shoulder. Some chips, overall surface wear and inoffensive pale brown staining but otherwise condition good and a nice example, Tunisia.
