Description: A dark brown flint endscraper with steep retouch at one end and some areas of cortex remaining. The scraper attached by cord to an annotated card. The card foxed and creased in places. Found at Hougham, near Dover, Kent, in 1928.

Size: Scraper 50 x 45 mm/2 x 1.8 ins., annotated card 60 x 92 mm/2.4 x 3.6 ins.

Culture: Neolithic

Date: c. 3rd Millennium B.C.

A nice example of the careful recording of even the humblest artefacts by early 20th Century collectors.
