Description: A gray flint scraper retouched along three edges and with a substantial area of cortex remaining on one side. The scraper attached by cord to an annotated card. The card foxed and creased in places. Found at Hougham, near Dover, Kent, in 1929.

Size: Scaper 48 x 58 mm/1.9 x 2.3 ins., annotated card 60 x 91 mm/2.3 x 3.6 ins.

Culture: Neolithic

Date: c. 3rd Millennium B.C.

A nice example of the careful recording of even the humblest artefacts by early 20th Century collectors.
