Description: A steep-sided dark grey flint scraper, almost pyramidal in form, attached by cord to an annotated card. The card distressed with creases and edge wear. Found at Hougham, near Folkestone, Kent, in 1929.

Size: Scraper 46 x 50 mm/1.8 x 2 ins., annotated card, 60 x 92 mm/2.4 x 3.6 ins.

Culture: Neolithic

Date: c. 3rd Millennium B.C.

A nice example of the careful recording of even the humblest artefacts by early 20th Century collectors.
