Description: A dark gray flint endscraper with steep retouch at one end and mottled gray patination attached by cord to an annotated card. The card foxed and creased in places, with some minor edge tears. Found at Capel-Le-Ferne, near Folkestone, Kent, in 1929.

Size: Scraper 51 x 43 mm/2 x 1.7 ins., annotated card 60 x 92 mm/2.4 x 3.6 ins.

Culture: Neolithic

Date: 3rd Millennium B.C.

A nice example of the careful recording of even the humblest artefacts by early 20th Century collectors.
