Code: 1296
Description: A small tinned bronze bracelet of overlap twist type, the overlapping wire terminals extending across to coil around each other. Some tarnishing and a small inoffensive partial cut to the metal, probably made to determine composition, otherwise condition good. Probably from the grave of a small child and found in Dorset. Although catalogued as Middle Bronze Age in a previous collection, we feel a Roman or Celtic attribution more likely.
Size: 48 mm/1.9 ins. in diameter
Culture: Roman/Celtic
Date: c. 1st-2nd Century A.D.
