Description: A grey flint subcircular scraper, retouched along most of the margin, a large area of cortex remaining on one side. The scraper attached by tape to an annotated card. The card foxed and curled with a tear at one corner. Found at Bury Hill, Dorking, Surrey, on 21st March 1931.

Size: Scraper 39 mm/1.5 ins. in diameter, annotated card, 60 x 92 mm/2.4 x 3.6 ins.

Culture: Neolithic

Date: c. 3rd Millennium B.C.

A nice example of the careful recording of even the humblest artefacts by early 20th Century collectors.
