A Roman bronze brooch, c. 1st Century A.D.

Description: A bronze brooch of Kräftig profilierte variant type, the bow and leg chamfered with a median arris and with a simple single flange forming the bow knob. The brooch has a square catchplate and dark brown patina. Complete with spring and pin and in good condition, probably from central Europe.

Size: 39 mm/1.5 ins. in length
