Description: A good-sized dark blue faience ushabti with details added in black. A vertical column of text on the front, which although rubbed appears to read ‘To the Osiris Iw-a-w true of voice’. Overall surface wear affecting the glaze, particularly on the front. A chip to the foot and to the chin, a few minor chips, some cracking of the glaze and some small scattered patches of encrustation, but originally an example with attractive colour.
