Description: A fawn terracotta tall-necked quadraped with stylised arching ears, pierced circular eyes and an applied brow band. Some worn orange slip remaining and minor surface wear, with some restoration to the legs and neck, but an attractive example.

Size: 65 mm/2.8 ins. in length and standing 75 mm/2.9 ins. high

Culture: Syria, Bronze Age

Date: c. 2nd Millennium B.C.

Provenance: Previously the property of a Dutch private collector and acquired in the 1970's from a London auction house.
