Description: A polished black hardstone axe with ground convex cutting edge, pointed butt, and with a symmetrical posterior taper. Some small chips to the cutting edge and the mid-body roughened but a nice example. An attached label gives the find spot as near Stuppington, Canterbury, Kent, but the axe probably of continental origin.
