Description: A small speckled green dolerite polished axehead with a symmetrical posterior taper and a ground cutting edge. Some minor overall surface wear and a small chip to the cutting edge which otherwise is entire, in good condition and a nice example. A black ink inscription records this as being found at Christchurch, Dorset.

Size: 72 mm/2.8 ins. in length
