Description: A carolina blue glazed faience ushabti comprising a mummiform figure wearing a plain tripartite wig with eyes, eyebrows, seshed headband, hoes and seed basket added in black, with a frontal column of black heiroglyphs, now illegible due to darker staining.  Some dark surface discoloration on the lower part of the body and some minor chips and surface wear particularly on the reverse but an attractive and relatively well-modelled example of the type.
