Description: A partially-polished thick-butted grey flint axehead with a gentle posterior taper and the butt square in cross-section. Some iron staining, some patches of cortex remaining particularly at the butt, a large chip to the edge of one side, some inoffensive edge chips and some small chips to the cutting edge, but a nice example of the type.

Size: 98 mm/3.8 ins. in length
